About the pattern
Wilmer Baby Clip is a quick-knit pacifier clip with a classic texture. The attachment for the clip is worked first and sewn on at the end. Stitches are then increased and worked following the chart before decreasing for the pacifier attachment. The pattern includes instructions for both a pacifier attachment with a “handle” and an O-ring for attaching to standard pacifiers.
Note that this pattern is designed for clips with a pointed attachment. If your clip has a flat attachment, you can skip the increases and decreases in the first section and simply work these sts in stockinette sts instead.
Important!
Pacifier clips must never measure longer than 22 cm including the clip. This is due to choking hazard for the child. Remember that the pacifier clip is an accessory and not a toy. Make sure the clip is securely sewn on and check it regularly as the child may put it in their mouth. It is recommended to use clips with holes or that are too large for the child to fit in their mouth.
