About the pattern
Mathilda Layette Bonnet is worked back and forth in pattern with I-cord edges. The decreases are worked along the side of the back of the head, allowing the pattern to flow continuously around the bonnet. Stitches are picked up for an I-cord edge around the face opening, before the neck edge and ties are worked in I-cord.
Please note that the stated yarn amounts are estimates based on the test knitters’ yarn usage. Some sizes have been recalculated from an alternative yarn. As we all knit a little differently, be sure to allow a few extra grams to be on the safe side 🤍
